What
are the embroidery guidelines?
For a typical left chest embroidery, the design can
range between 2" to 4" wide and height is
determine by width. We create all designs to sew clean.
If you already have your design sewn on apparel and
would like it the exact size in most cases we can achieve
this. Designs that have small text in them will determine
the overall size of sewing. We recommend to complete
our request form for any question about your design.
The smallest text we recommend
embroidering with any accuracy is 6mm high. We prefer
to embroider text not any smaller than 8mm. Example,
an Arial font can be sewn smaller than a Lucida Calligraphy
font.
How many thread colors of
embroidery can I used?
Our machines have 9 needles on each embroidery
head. Therefore, we can sew up to 9 thread colors. Most
logo are 1 - 6 colors and the average stitch count is
less than 7500 stitches.
How do I choose my thread
colors?
Choosing your thread colors is a common question
that is asked. If you want the logo to be noticed from
a distance choose colors that stand out. Example, white
threads on a navy or black. If you want the logo to
blend more and still be readable from a distance then
pick colors that are closer in matching or would blend
better. Example, beige threads on a navy would be very
readable, but would not stand out as white threads on
navy. Another common embroidery of a logo is called
tone on tone. Tone on tone embroidery is sewing a thread
color that is close to the item color. This is commonly
done on expensive items such a Ping shirts.
When we are matching your logo we
match it to the closest color of our standard colors
which are listed below. If you need an exact PMS color
match we can match...we just need to know the PMS color
number. There is a small fee to match exact colors,
generally around Rs. 500 per colour.
Refer to our shade card in
the "Tool" option on the menu and you will
get a wide choice of colours to choose from. Please
remember that based on your monitor setting colors may
appear slightly different than they are when ordered.
